Ford Transit Custom V362 Fasp Seat Swivel Base (2013-2024)

Fasp produce an excellent range of high quality seat swivels, we often use them in conversions we do ourselves and the fit and work really well. Fasp swivels are constructed using tough coated mild steel which is CNC formed to give rigid support to the seat whilst travelling and whilst relaxing.

The swivel is operated using a single pull lever at the front of the seat and once pulled the seat can be easily rotated a full 180 degrees, depending of course on how much room you have around the seat. The only locked position is straight ahead so once swivelled you can use the seat at any angle you like.

This is a slim swivel, but as with all swivels, the actual size of the swivel does take up some room so it will add about 28mm to the height of the seat.

These particular swivels will fit all Transit models with single seats from 2013 to present day and can be fitted on the driver and passenger side, just choose which when ordering. Fasp swivels are crash tested and have CE approval.

NOTE: If you have a double passenger seat in your van then the driver seat will not rotate unless you fit a swivel plate below the double passenger seat as well.

To rotate the driver's seat, the engine must be switched off and the vehicle put into gear and the handbrake released. Once the seat is rotated, the handbrake can be re-applied. For seats fitted with height adjustment, you will find that you probably need to raise the seat height to allow it to rotate without the plastic trim around the base fowling on anything. On certain models you will need to trim the plastic surround. If you have a plastic handbrake cover then you may have to remove it or modify it when fitting the swivel.

NOTE: This swivel fits between the seat runners and original seat base, (the rear outer ends of the runners can be trimmed or protection added to avoid any damage to the door trim while rotating the seat if this is a concern).

Fasp do advise that on the driver's seat, the handbrake needs to be mounted lower on the base. A bracket is available to help you do this (please see below), but most installers chose to just re-drill the seat base. If you want to retain easy access to the battery it will also need to be relocated. If you have a larger battery fitted, you may need modify the bottom of the battery box to lower it slightly and ensure clearance to refit the lid, it is best to check your actual vehicle.
