These taps are designed to work with a pressurised system so do not have internal micro-switched.

Excellent
Bought this to add separate shower head to van - original had combined basin tap/shower. Mixer tap is big but solid and fitting was straightforward. Fixing is by 13mm stud and nut, but this is close to the inlet hoses and tightening in a confined space was tricky. A sleeve spanner would help in some situations.
