CBE CB516-3 12V 16A Auto Switching Battery Charger

The CBE CB516-3 series battery charger is able to load lead-acid batteries (lead-acid, lead-gel, AGM) automatically and with innovative charging phases on the camper. The battery charger is protected against overheating and the 12V outputs are protected against short circuit and polarity inversion.

The CBE CB516-3 is also intended to replace the model CBE CB516.

SIX CHARGING CYCLES FOR 12V BATTERIES

• Desulfate: when the battery charger, the battery only needs, this is loaded at a voltage of 15.2V until the current exceeds the 2A or for up to 2 hours.
• Bulk: charging the battery with the maximum current until it reaches the final charge voltage. NB: the end of charge is reached only if the battery is efficient.
• Absorption: battery charge completely, with constant charging end voltage for the time defined by the line of charge with progressive reduction of current.
• Float: trickle charging at constant voltage for up to 15 hours. A strong absorption by the battery, involves the reboot of the Bulk phase.
• Stand-by: the charger does not provide more energy and switch to Refresh phase only when the battery voltage falls below the 13V.
• Refresh: the battery is charged at the Bulk charging voltage to a maximum time of 1 hour; This phase is designed to compensate for self-discharge of the battery during any prolonged periods of inactivity of the camper.

Full fitting instructions included. Unit doesn't have leads as shown in the photograph, but comes with plugs and crimp terminals for you to make up your own to suit your requirements.
